2. Services
QME California coordinates qualified medical evaluations and related physician services for insurance carriers, third-party administrators, employers, and legal professionals. We do not provide medical advice or treatment to claimants.
3. Eligible Users
Our services are intended for licensed professionals and authorized representatives of organizations. We do not contract directly with claimants.
4. Referrals & Scheduling
All referrals are subject to physician availability, medical specialty match, and applicable jurisdictional requirements. Scheduling estimates are not guarantees.
5. Reports
Reports are prepared by independent physicians within our network. QME California does not alter, edit, or influence physician opinions. Standard turnaround time averages two weeks; expedited timelines may be requested for an additional fee.
6. Fees & Payment
Fees vary by examination type, specialty, location, and complexity. Volume pricing is available. Invoices are payable per the terms stated on each invoice.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made less than 48 business hours prior to an appointment, and no-shows, may be subject to charges as described in the applicable scheduling confirmation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of QME California or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The site and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QME California shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the site or services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
