Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Our commitment

QME California is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have built in

This site uses semantic HTML structure and landmarks, a skip-to-content link, keyboard-operable navigation and forms, visible focus indicators, labelled form fields, alternative text on meaningful images, and colour combinations chosen for contrast. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.

Accessibility tools on this site

An accessibility button is available on every page. It opens a panel where you can increase or decrease text size, switch on a high-contrast display, reduce motion and animation, and underline links. Your choices are remembered on your device and can be reset at any time from the same panel.

Assistive technology and browsers

The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers and with screen readers and other assistive technologies that support standard web accessibility features. Your operating system and browser accessibility settings, including your own reduced-motion and text-size preferences, are respected.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time exercise. We review new pages and features as they are added and correct issues as we find them. Where a third-party component falls short, we look for an accessible alternative.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter something on this site that you cannot access or use, please tell us through the contact form on our Contact page. Describe the page and what happened, and we will respond and work to provide the information or function in an accessible way.
